| WE NEED YOUR HELP
We're looking for meeting space!
That's Right . . . We're looking for room to hold some of the new clinics that Thom Curtis, (New Program Chairman) needs to handle the programs he's envisioned for Boulder Flycasters. First off, Thom has come up with an idea of a group fly tying get-together on a monthly basis.
Details:
One evening each month, Boulder Flycasters program chairman,
Thom Curtis, will be hosting a gathering of those members interested
in tying flies at a place yet to be determined. All skill levels, from beginner to expert, will be welcomed and encouraged to help one another become better tyers.
The objective in this clinic is for each tyer to improve their skill level and pass on any
pointers they may have to other participants.
This is a hands-on tying session and each participant will bring their own equipment, including vice and lighting and tying materials.
We hope to offer, through local shops, a discount on any fly tying materials that participants would like to purchase prior to each clinic.
If you're wanting to tie a particular pattern but can't seem to get it right or just interested in meeting other club tyers, this is the gathering for you.
We encourage those interested in tuning up their skills to enroll, but those who are just to getting started tying flies,
this is the club activity for you and it's absolutely free. There will be no charge for any instruction we may provide!
What a bargain and laughs are included in the package.
But there is a catch . . . we need a space in which to hold the tying sessions. A corporate meeting room, a townhouse meeting facility/room or other appropriate space large enough to handle a dozen tyers at tables is our goal.
If you have such a room available to Boulder Flycasters starting at 6:00 p.m. and ending sometime after 8:30 p.m. on a week night, please let Thom know.

Al Permut, Owner/Broker of Boulder Valley Realty Helping BFC!
Help for Boulder Flycasters
Support the Boulder Creek Enhancement Project When You Buy or Sell A Home (or even if you know someone who is planning to buy or sell). And save yourself hundreds of dollars in the process.
Al Permut, broker/owner of Boulder Valley Realty, will donate directly to the Rogers Park Project $50 for every referral of someone planning to buy or sell a home within the next 6 months or so.
Al will also donate 10% of his commission from every transaction resulting from this promotion.
It's really simple. Here's how it works:
Contact Al, have a friend contact Al or get permission for Al to contact them. Be sure to mention this offer. Even if outside the Metro area or Colorado, Al can set up a referral to another well qualified Realtor. When this results in a referral fee, Al will donate 10% to the project.
Al Permut is a long time member, past president and served for many years on the Board of Directors of Boulder Flycasters. He is excited to be able to directly support this worthwhile project with a little help from you.
During the Planting Day, July 18th, Al made a donation of $1,593.00 to the Roger's Park Project. Thanks, Al, for making this happen!
